Recovery is an important element of any exercise regimen, as it aids in living a balanced life.
Recovery Allows Your body (and spirit) to:
Replenish you energy stores!
Adapt to the new stress of intense exercise
Focus on building, repairing and strengthening you muscles
RECOVERY IDEAS
WATER + SLEEP
When your body is sufficiently hydrated and rested, muscle recovery is improved. Plus we could all use more water and sleep.
TAKE A BATH
I always add a generous amount of epsom salt to mine.
FOAM ROLL IT OUT
They’re easy to find and amazing for relieving muscle tension! Lay down and let the foam roller ease your sore muscles.
STRETCH
Set aside 10-20 minutes for a stretch session.
